A fable of innocence: thirteen-year-old Aviva Victor wants to be a ‘mom’. She does all she can to make this happen, and comes very close to succeeding, but in the end her plan is thwarted by her sensible parents. So she runs away, still determined to get pregnant one way or another, but instead finds herself lost in another world, a less sensible one, perhaps, but one pregnant itself with all sorts of strange possibility. She takes a road trip from the suburbs of New Jersey, through Ohio to the plains of Kansas and back. Like so many trips, this one is round-trip, and it’s hard to say in the end if she can ever be quite the same again, or if she can ever be anything but the same again.

The comic strip and animated sailor hero comes to life in this meticulous live action production that looks at the origins of Popeye and his battle against arch-rival Bluto. Nearly all the characters from the strip are reproduced here.

Naturally he falls in love with her which leads to other complications from each other’s friends and enemies alike.

Three days, five women, and a host of potentially life-altering decisions are the ingredients in this film about a group of friends who are all at different places in their lives, but equally dissatisfied. Their careers, their relationships, and their mental health all seem to be on the correct path, but life has a funny way of never letting things get too easy as director Tony Hickman explores in this drama about waking up in the middle of life and craving change.

Tia (Kim Richards) and Tony (Ike Eisenmann) are two orphaned youngsters with extraordinary powers.
